Is it “leg day?” If your goals are leg strength and endurance, this is the workout for you! Workout focuses on all 3 planes of motion for the lower half. Pair of dumbbells, two small wash clothes (or paper plates for carpet floors), and foam roller for the workout. No equipment? I give options for body weight throughout the entire workout.
Workout:
*Foam rolling (calves, VMO, glutes)
1) Squats (varied tempo)
2) Heel glide bridge
3) Lateral Lunge RIGHT (loaded or unloaded)
4) Lateral Lunge power push off (RIGHT)
5) Lateral Lunge LEFT
6) Lateral Lunge power push off (LEFT)
7) Crossover to hinge alternating
8) Triple Transverse Squat with calf raise
9) Squat Jacks
